Mukri is a suite of products in 100% pure Java for Indian language computing. Designing webpages and maintaining them is a breeze. Since the software is 100% pure Java, it is portable to any platform!
Our products are based on ISCII (Indian Standard Code for Information Interchange) and Unicode. They are ideal for building indian language enabled desktop applications in Java and also for server-side data crunching, converting text to and from one format to another, say,
- Transliterated Text to Encoded Text (ISCII, Unicode, Font) or Vice Versa.
- ISCII to Unicode or Vice Versa.
- ISCII to Font or vice versa.
- Unicode to Font or vice versa etc.,
The Trasliteration engine is fully customizable. You can use your own scheme. The modular architecture of underlying API (application programming interface) will let you plug in your favourite font.
